Dennis A. Finkielstein, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.A.S.E., is the Deputy Chief of the Division of Cardiology, the Director of Ambulatory Cardiology, and the Program Director of the Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Finkielstein received his medical degree from S.U.N.Y. Stony Brook School of Medicine in Stony Brook, NY. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Finkielstein is also the director of the Anticoagulation Center at Beth Israel Medical Center.  He holds special expertise in non-invasive cardiology (echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and vascular imaging).  He belongs to various professional societies, has received multiple honors and awards and has participated in lectures, contributed to peer-reviewed journals, abstracts, text books and book chapters. Dr. Finkielstein holds an academic appointment as Associate Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY.
