Rebecca Solomon, MS, RD, CDN, is the Director of Clinical Nutrition at Beth Israel Medical Center.  After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology at Tufts University, Rebecca completed her Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics at New York University.  She is certified as a Registered Dietitian and licensed in New York State as a Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist. Prior to joining Beth Israel Medical Center as the Director of Clinical Nutrition, Rebecca was a Clinical Nutrition Coordinator for at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where she counseled bariatric patients pre- and post-surgery, integrated paperless charting for inpatient dietitians, and implemented a quality assurance program for the Nutrition Department.  Rebecca has gained celebrity in the nutrition field by lecturing widely in the New York area on such subjects as healthy eating, weight loss, vitamin and mineral supplementation, and a host of other topics. She has been featured on NY1, Fox News, CBS, and WNBC, and various newspapers and publications.
