Jonathan Stieber, MD, is a board certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon who provides consultation and treatment for patients with both common and complex spinal disorders and deformities.

Dr. Stieber was educated at Duke University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. After completing an orthopaedic surgery residency at Monmouth Medical Center, Dr. Stieber completed specialized fellowship training in spine surgery at New York University Medical Center and the Hospital for Joint Diseases.

Dr. Stieber is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU School of Medicine. In this capacity, he lectures and instructs medical students, residents, and fellows. He has published numerous peer-reviewed papers and has presented his research both nationally and internationally. He is the author of multiple chapters on surgery of the spine.

Skilled in the most current surgical techniques and emerging technologies, Dr. Stieber has a specific interest in minimally invasive solutions for the treatment of spinal disorders as well as motion preservation surgery.
